How can I have my application permanently removed from SABIC’s database?
To remove your file from our database permanently, you need to send an e-mail to our recruitment department requesting "permanent deletion" at sabic.recruitment@sabic-europe.com. We will then make sure that your file will be erased.
Can I have an international career at SABIC?
Yes, the possibilities depend on your position. Please enquire after any opportunities during your job interview.
Can I work part-time at SABIC?
Yes, you can, but it depends on your job, the context, and your personal situation. It can always be negotiated. Here at SABIC people sometimes work four days a week and others work from home one day per week. Employees also do job-sharing – each working half-time.
Will SABIC help me find a place to live while I do my internship at SABIC?
In the Netherlands, there are a number of youth hostels accommodating our interns. Of course, people only qualify for these when the commuting distance is too long.
What kind of information does SABIC request from potential employees, before starting the selection process?
You must properly prepare for writing a letter and drafting your résumé. You must clearly describe your most recent working experience or thesis subject. Limit your résumé to a maximum of two A4-sized pages. State your salary requirements in your résumé and clearly indicate whether you wish to work part-time or full-time and whether you are prepared to move, if so required.
I did not receive a confirmation e-mail or letter.
Please contact us at sabic.recruitment@sabic-europe.com. We will check whether your application was received. Also, check whether your inbox is full.
Are there any international internships at SABIC?
SABIC offers international internships/final assignments on a very limited basis; see also our website for work placements. Since we are an international company, your work placement may well have an international character.
How long does the application procedure take?
The average application procedure takes 8 weeks. You will receive a confirmation letter via email. The procedure involves an orientating interview, an E-assessment and 2 first round interviews of 1 hour. The procedure is concluded with a final meeting in which the terms and conditions are discussed.
Can I work abroad?
Yes, SABIC is a global operating company with job positions in more then 100 locations.
