Seveso II directive
Our production sites comply with national regulations according to the European Seveso II directive, which is aimed at the prevention of major industrial accidents.
ATEX directive
As of June 2006, all new and existing plants must comply with the European ATEX directive. This directive deals with health and safety protection for employees at workplaces that are at risk of explosive air mixtures. SABIC Europe has developed a systematic approach for identifying and evaluating potential explosion risks at its plants and workplaces.
SHE audits
In accordance with governmental and company regulations, periodic SHE audits are conducted in order to verify compliance with related obligations and requirements.
