SABIC Europe's Research & Development team creates value for the company by developing and continuously improving processes and technologies. Research & Development aims to deliver the right products for SABIC Europe's current and future markets, in order to create a long term, sustainable business platform. Research & Development has helped SABIC Europe gain a vital competitive edge, both in servicing our customers and in assisting our production facilities to optimize product quality.
The Research & Development team focuses on product development in SABIC Europe's key areas of competence, namely: olefins production by liquid cracking, polypropylene copolymer and compounding, bi-modal high density polyethylene pipe, and low density polyethylenes. We strive to innovate and to continuously acquire fresh competences in new products areas and, eventually, new technologies.
SABIC Europe Research & Development includes the patent group for all SABIC Europe patent services, and is closely linked to the four patent offices of the Corporate patent group.
SABIC Europe Research & Development includes the regulatory affairs and product compliance group for the company.
