Integrated approach

Our head office is located in Sittard (the Netherlands). Housed in an attractive new building that defines the cutting-edge in flexible workplace design, it offers a perfect illustration of SABIC Europe's ambition to be an innovator, not a follower.

ResearchOur integrated world-scale production facilities are based in Geleen (the Netherlands), Teesside (United Kingdom), and Gelsenkirchen (Germany), with a total yearly production of almost 9 million tons of petrochemicals. In Europe, apart from polyethylenes and polypropylenes, we also produce chemical products like olefins, benzene, acetylene, and MTBE.

Geleen is also the hometown of a state-of-the-art Research & Development center and our highly qualified Technical Marketing team for expert technical support.

SABIC Europe includes the sales organization for all SABIC products manufactured elsewhere in the world. SABIC sales in Europe amount to almost 11 million tons of polymers, base chemicals, and intermediates. Our sales offices operate from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Turkey.

SABIC Pipelines

SABIC Pipelines B.V., based in Urmond (the Netherlands), operates pipelines for transporting naphtha (PAL), ethylene (ARG), and mono vinyl chloride on behalf of several chemical companies. These pipelines connect the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp with a number of key industrial areas in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.

We also operate strategically located logistic hubs (warehouses) and storage tanks in key ports in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, and Malta. These serve to optimize the supply chain and secure an uninterrupted flow of products produced in Saudi Arabia and marketed in Europe.
